This is the real deal. If it is true that the Israeli embassy has been evacuated by helicopters, as was twittered earlier on the BBC, then that is all we need to know for now, isn't it...

Though I don't believe that this has happened in fact, I like the image a lot :-)
It's quite plausible though, since the military has deployed to protect the British and Yankee embassies. If the Israelis were still there wouldn't they too receive protection? And wouldn't they feel a tad uncomfortable under Egyptian army protection? In any case, I am like you: I like the idea...
Also: In Tunis the friendly Israeli helpers of the local Gestapo left the country that way last week...
