What about Hamas - are they doing anything in response to these events?

Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew (10:26) and Saint John (8:32)
Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety. His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish.
Holy Prophet and King David (Psalm 145:3-4 according to the LXX)
To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.
Arundhati Roy

Thou shalt not be a perpetrator.
And above all,
Thou shalt not be a bystander

I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill. I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent. Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.Mahatma Gandhi

I am a pessimist by nature. Many people can only keep on fighting when they expect to win. I'm not like that, I always expect to lose. I fight anyway, and sometimes I win.

I don't think Hezbollah stands to benefit one way or another...most of these revolts in the Maghreb are about unemployment and poverty, not Islam and Israel
@CH: wow - you really don't understand what is going on, now do you?! Just google the terms Hezbollah and Egypt if that topic is of interest to you. As for putting unemployment and poverty on one side, and Islam and Israel on the other totally misses the direct relationship between for former and the latter.
haven't heard a single thing from that area apart from a report on AJE that there are no military (in some part of the north sinai region) since it is a G-zone.
This is what i could get.

Dear Saker,
The borders with Gaza are still quite so far....but for how long....?
Depends what happens between now and next Friday prayers....?
Regarding you New Comer here in the comment section....He/She is right that there are a lot of Animosity on the streets of Iran...between Arab and Farsi....historical and racial animosity, if not more....like Racism. But that's not the Iranian Government policy who know better....
As for Hizbullah and Egypt, Hezbollah are elated and very happy for the Egyptian people for sure and have said that much on their Media outlet's coverage....but no official statements yet... Remember that Hezbollah has an AX to grind with Egypt, because of last year's imprisonment in Egypt of a Hizbullah covert Cell who was trying to help GAZA....and which was "Discovered" by the Egyptian and Israeli Intelligence efforts...then there was some trials/Charade in Egypt and a HUGE Media campaign in Egypt by their STOOGE MEDIA in Cairo against Hizbullah which lasted about a year....and it suddenly died down...because the Egyptian street did not seem amenable to the Regime's Rhetoric against Hizbullah.
Cheers,
Joe
Saker,
The GAZA corridor/Sinai is going to become absolutely crucial strategically for the USRAELI Empire...and I read that US Army has dispatched additional troops to the SINAI only few days ago, I believe from Connecticut...in order to keep the "Peace" and maintain the "Neutrality", demilitarization of Sinai...per the accords of Camp David of 1979....
Cheers,
Joe

The Bedouin in Egyptian Rafah have taken over the Egyptian side of the border. Fence is broken down. Hamas is keeping Gazans inside with live fire.
