Meet the folks who are now trying to seize power in Syria

A new video of Gaddafi's murderers having a great time playing with his dead body has recently emerged.  Look at the faces of these folks, their attitude, their "playful" joy at having fun with the body of a dead man.

These are the exact same crazed Wahabi thugs who are now trying to overthrow Assad in Syria and whom the West, and some terminally stupid Arabs, is now arming and supporting in the hope that they will repeat their "success" in Libya.

This time, nobody will be able to say that he/she "did not know".

God knows that I always had a profound dislike for Gaddafi and his regime, but what was done to this man is disgusting beyond words.  I am not so much appalled by the fact that a group of crazed Wahabis could act like a pack of drunken hyenas (I remember what these folks did in Bosnia and Chechnia), as by the fact that after such images are shown worldwide nobody gives a damn or reaches some conclusions about the type of ideological rationalizations which made all this happen in the first place.  Really - after what happened in Libya, how can any person with even a small residual ounce of decency cheer on the so-called "Syrian opposition"?

To all those who cheer on the "Free Syrian Army" I only will say this: your crass stupidity and lack of basic decency disgust me beyond expression.

The BBC is "going mental" over Gaddafi's lynching

Muammar Gaddafi's death: NTC commander speaks

The commander of forces who captured Muammar Gaddafi has given details of the Libyan ex-leader's last moments.  Omran al-Oweib told the BBC that the injured colonel was dragged from a drainage pipe where he was hiding in Sirte, took 10 steps and collapsed amid gunfire on Thursday.  He said it was impossible to tell who had fired the fatal bullet.

Meanwhile confusion has emerged over whether a full post-mortem had been performed on Col Gaddafi.  His body - and that of his son Mutassim, who was also killed on Thursday - have been placed in a meat storage facility in the city of Misrata.

The foreign affairs spokesman of Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC), Ahmed Gebreel, told the BBC the post-mortem was carried out on Saturday.  However a senior health official within the NTC, Nagy Barakat, said there was no need for such an examination as the cause of death had emerged from a pathologist's report.

In an exclusive BBC interview, Mr Oweib said: "I didn't see who killed, which weapon killed Gaddafi." He added that some of his fighters had wanted to shoot the colonel, but that he had sought to keep him alive.  After Col Gaddafi collapsed, Mr Oweib said, he drove him to a field hospital where he was pronounced dead. "I tried to save his life but I couldn't," the commander said.
Amazing no?  Videos with all the evidence imaginable about Gaddafi's lynching are all over the Internet and yet the BBC seriously reports about some "post mortem", about some "weapon", wielded by some mysterious unknown (lone?) killer,  which killed Gaddafi, and even about somebody trying to actually save Gaddafi.  The BBC does not even bother with giving *any* details about Mutassim Gaddafi's murder, although that could imply that he died next to his father which, of course, covers-up for another crime.

In the meanwhile, the US is seriously talking about an "open" investigation, like Uncle Shmuel had nothing to do with that.

How can anybody take these BBC clowns seriously?!
Orwellian.  Completely Orwellian.

Hillary's impersonation of Julius Cesar

"What you are doing is forbidden in Islam!"

The following are reportedly Gaddafi's last words:

"What you're doing is wrong, guys. What you're doing is wrong. Do you know what is right or wrong? What are you doing? It's haraam [forbidden]. It's not allowed in Islamic law. Haraam. What you are doing is forbidden in Islam!"

I am not a Muslim myself, and I am therefore not qualified to judge what is, or is not, forbidden in Islam.  Others here are far more qualified then myself to comment on this.

I however know that the Arabic word "Shahid", which is usually translated as "martyr", has exactly the same origin as the Greek word martys (μάρτυς) - it means witness.

The Christian tradition holds that no matter how evil or sinful your life has been, you can redeem it until your last breath by becoming a martyr, a witness of God's truth.  If "Islam" means "submission to God" then Gaddafi's last words were "what you are doing is forbidden to those who submit to God".  That is, of course, true and even though I never had any sympathy for Gaddafi, I recognize that his last words were a true witness to God, addressed not only to the screaming lunatics who beat him to death, but also to the leader of the pseudo-Christian Western world who allowed them to take power in Libya (and in many other countries).

For those who can stomach the image of a 69 year old man being lynched, you can see evidence of this crime in the following sites:

Gaddafi was lynched by a Wahabi mob! (UPDATED)

I just saw a video on Russia Today showing Gaddafi still alive, covered in blood, and lynched by a rabid mob screaming Allahu Akbar!

This is revolting beyond words!

As I always say, there is no peace possible between civilized mankind (I do not include NATO member states in that category, by the way) and the Wahabi crazies.

Dubya was right. It really is "us or them".

How sad.

UPDATE: Reuters confirms the story and has footage of Gaddafi alive on a bed.  The so-called "rebels" had to even lie about what was done to Gaddafi but the crazed brutes who murdered him could not miss the chance to make a video of his death (taking videos of torture is, along with throat-slashing, a time honored Wahabi tradition).

My disgust with NATO and its Libyan Wahabi stooges is now total.
