I hope that at present those, who thought that Ukrainian civil war would continue for years and even for decades, clearly see that the Kiev regime and the government of Ukraine will fall within several months, at the worst – in about a year.

The war goes on, because the Kiev leadership, using habitual submissive inertia of the population and relying on wreckage of the state machinery, brutal force and the acknowledged central authority status, has an opportunity to accumulate the remaining recourses (equipment, people, money) and thrust them into the furnace of war.

If there is no at least nominally legitimate authority in Kiev, the army won’t fight, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will subject itself to the local authorities, and every Nazi gang refashioned into “volunteer battalion” will take orders from its führer and fight each other about loot. Also they, already far from being an organized military force, will plunder and commit atrocities in particular regions.

The Liberation army is capable to restore some order comparatively swiftly. It’s also possible to ensure the inhabitants’ minimum persistence (particularly with Russian support). But once the Nazi government, Nazi army and major Nazi gangs are gone, the society will still adhere to Nazi ideology, so ingrained in the heads of at least half of the population.

Meanwhile there will be a lot of weaponry. It’s easy to annihilate the hundred-men-gangs that drive tanks and APCs. It’s not hard to smash tens of hundreds of such gangs. But it is impossible to disarm the entire 40-million population.

Hence the record of the first crop of Banderites has been not only well-remembered, but heroized by Nazi propaganda, the hiding Nazis, having almost unlimited number of weapons, might start terrorizing people in the freed territories. Chasing the officials, followers and activists of a new authority, sabotaging and organizing diversions by hiding Nazis can become a greater and, above all, longer-lasting problem than the very military action.

Military-police methods of struggle with ideology-driven underground result efficient only over a long period and if the recourses of the hiding Nazis are limited. In a country with 2 million “civilians” who might be in sympathy with fascists it’s impossible to root out such kind of underground movement.

This underground, as the Lernaean Hydra, will grow new heads for each head cut off, despite alteration of generations. Its activities can be limited and made almost invisible, but not crushed to the full extent. It will wait for its finest hour for decades as the Banderites did between 1945 and 2014. It’s possible to put an end to active banderism and to underground Nazi resistance only if masses cease favoring the Nazi ideology.

There are not so many committed Nazis in Ukraine – up to several tens of thousands. Many have died and many will die on the civil war front. Many of them will be killed in the midst of the obliteration of armed gangs into which Ukrainian army is about to disintegrate. The hundreds of Nazis, who hold political posts or actively participate in propaganda activities, have already fallen under penal articles. If lived through, they will be jailed for long or forever. It’s impossible to imprison or kill off the millions. Better said, technically, yes, it’s possible, but moral, material and political costs will be too high, and the result won’t justify those costs.

That’s why the millions, who rejoiced at the “fried Colorado beetles” news through social media and demanded to annihilate the Donbass’ cities along with their populations (because in their opinion, “there are no civilians”), risk nothing: although their actions are amoral, however they lack the elements of crime. At the same time, those millions by moral support for Nazis (who are considered absent in Ukraine) prepare the nutrient medium the Nazi underground movement melts into. And in such a way it gets to be uncatchable and extremely enduring.

They, the millions, of course will accept a new ideology and will reason basing on TV news. But it won’t prevent them from being faithful to “European dream”, which has been stolen from them by Donbass people. The war will always dwell with war participants; they always deem themselves heroes. Mutilated soldiers, whose number totals to thousands and keeps growing, won’t tell their children that they lost limbs, having stupidly let drag themselves into fight for the wrong. They will talk nonsense about “European dream”, hordes of “Donbass terrorists” and quintillions of regular troops of the Russian Federation, against whom only a few fighters (“cyborgs”, “Kruty heroes”, “the 300 Spartans”) stood.

Marginal revanchism is a Nazi medium. While telling their children and grandchildren about merits beyond the call of duty, the most ordinary victims of 4 waves of mobilization, who are nowhere near the Nazi ideology, will impress the feeling of marginality (enmity toward state and society) upon their minds. They will also inculcate a desire to repeat “exploit” of the fathers and grandfathers and to “free” the non-vindicated Motherland in young generation.

This unobservable influence of family legends has not let the Ukrainizers oppress the Russian spirit in Ukraine within 3 post-soviet decades. But the same unnoted influence of family legends had allowed the Banderites to survive 70 years and show up at the beginning of the 21st century. It’s able to maintain the Ukrainian neo-Nazis’ ideas for entire decades and provide the grounds for hiding Nazis.

One can’t catch / jail / shoot all of them, given that those will seem to be alike, to be living next to you since ages, speaking the same language.

The only way to rapidly eradicate the Nazism or any other ideology is to make it unpopular with the society and to bring the carriers of this ideology out as uptight misfits who are bound to fail and rust. Actually the communist ideology was being wiped out exactly in this way since dissolution of the Soviet Union. As a result, the surveys done in all former soviet states show that, regarding matters of their concern, the most population sympathize with left wing’s agenda. Nevertheless, the general population vote for the right wing, because it’s sort of obscene to support the leftists.

So, we’re familiar with technology. Moreover, we know who the main target audience is: the youngsters. As the members of Ukrainian hitlerjugend aged 14 and older are unlikely to get reeducated easily, younger children and teenagers, especially kids aged 10 and less, will strongly depend on created social environment. When implementing more or less appropriate propagandistic activities, it’ll be possible for no parent to reveal to a child that he or she was killing children in Donetsk, that he or she was destroying the country by inflicting hunger, unemployment and disorder on sorely trouble-free state.

It was shameful to have a Nazi past in postwar Germany and Italy, i.e. after 1945. The anti-Nazi sentiment in those countries is one of the strongest. E.g. Germany even doesn’t let itself to publicly support neo-Nazism, as opposed to what Poland takes the liberty to do. The Polish ended up among victims of aggression circumstantially, they didn’t have to get denazified. They weren’t ashamed.

The first task is to give the society a moral reference point, to show it the seamy side of the today’s Kiev regime, so that no sane human being could admit that he or she voluntarily supports it.

There is the second task, and the German also completed it.

It suddenly turned out that there were no Nazis in the country that supported Hitler even after his death and was brought to senses only owing to decisive defeat of its armed forces and total occupation of its land. I mean, somebody perished in battles, somebody was executed, somebody was imprisoned, somebody managed to get away, but the rest happened to be anti-fascists… millions, tens of millions of anti-fascists, secret “regime busters”. German people experienced such a huge cultural shock that they (being of sound mind) could not avow that they had supported the Nazi regime. They persuaded themselves that, though silently, inwardly, they fought against Nazism. It turned out that even the millions of frontline soldiers “defended not Hitler, but Germany”.

It’s indispensable to let Ukrainian Nazi fellows, accomplices to the coup d’état, social media “fighters” feel themselves the regime’s opponents. They will find a pretext on their own. If an “anti-terrorist ops veteran” tells his grandchild that he lost hand defending the Donbass from Nazi horde or that he sustained burns not in a tank which was set afire when assaulting Slavyansk, but in a line of weaponless “Berkut” special forces who held back heavily armed militants, no doubt it won’t be fair with regard to retaliation matter (at least to moral condemnation), but farsighted as for denazification of the society. Person, telling to her or his son about how he or she fought against Nazis, will never be able to advocate the Nazism again. It’s possible to make it through whatever public disapproval. It’s impossible to get over the reproof of one’s own offspring, children and grandchildren.

The carrying out of a death sentence of Makarova Antonina M. (alias – Ton’ka The Machine gun shooter) took place in 1979. She collaborated with Nazi Germans in so called “Lokot Republic” in Bryansk region. In 1942 the woman shot dead more than 1500 people. Antonina raised 2 daughters to be true soviet citizens who hated Nazis and Nazi collaborators. The girls were staggered, having got to learn that in fact their mom was not an honored soviet trench fighter, but collaborator and Nazi butcher. Mrs Makarova worked hard in a postwar time; her photos did not leave the honor board. And it is not only her case. Many collaborators, traitors became all-right soviet citizens, best workers. Exactly this played badly for them. The witnesses of their crimes recognized them precisely by the honor board photos, newspaper images, etc.

It’s impossible to show a false face for decades. The majority of those people just psychologically replaced real biography by made-up one. All men are liable to invent explanations for their wrongdoings, and those explanations even justify and prove the misdeeds to be necessary. Dirty tricks are misrepresented as heroism. The person starts believing the invented version. This process goes faster in mass conscience. Already in 2005 more than a half of Kiev inhabitants who participated in the 1st Maidan asserted that they walked out to the streets not to support Yuschenko, that Yuschenko betrayed them, that “orange” politicians were all scum, that they would never come to protest on Maidan. However, in 2013 those people again went to Maidan. All the top brass of Ukraine elite, with rare exception, is former members of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (like Kravchuk and Kuchma who held senior positions in the party) or Komsomol (Young Communist League) leaders (like Turchinov). The most important is that, if those wake up tomorrow morning and find out that the Soviet Union has been miraculously revived, the first thing they’ll do is to take off to a district committee of the party and demand to reissue their party membership cards.

I’d like to point out once more that only certain, utmost lame (generally, psychologically insane) people can do evil and be proud of it. The most people find themselves on the dark side because of their own spinelessness and they forget about it with relish, if the society lets them forget.

That’s why it seems necessary to combine the following measures:

- severe punishment for leaders and organizers of the coup d’état, as well as for blatant war criminals and sadists (I think, it’s rather okay to postpone the restoration of regular justice system in the liberated territories for several weeks, so that people manage to impose their own sentence on criminals, if they will);

- pitiless execution of Nazis and thugs who refuse to lay down arms after Ukrainian military and governmental institutions collapse;

- intensive anti-Nazi propaganda while exposing all the horrors of Nazis’ crimes (without fear to go too far with that and not getting distracted from it by trending topics as time goes on);

- consigning to oblivion the behavior pattern of many cannon fodder guys and “volunteers” of the dictatorship, so giving them an opportunity to forget their past and raise kids right.

Of course, it’d be great to apply the methods of the USSR that forgave neither those who had joined punitive squads or auxiliary policy, nor those who had verbally favored German occupation (it did not matter whether in printed words or by word of mouth).

The French took more drastic measures. They hung ordinary city officials, who served in the Vichy government (by the way, this government was totally legal and it acted in conformity with the Constitution and laws of France). But neither USSR, nor France faced up to civil war (when a half of population fights against another one).

Civil war ends in victory of one or another party. There is no doubt that we’ll win. Nevertheless, the other party won’t vanish. It’s impossible to eliminate it. Since civil war got started, it is clear that every side is supported by remarkable percentage of citizens (up to a half), otherwise the majority would suppress the minority. Here you have the slaughter of minorities in Rwanda ([1994 genocide] stopped due to arrival of peacekeepers) and Cambodia ([1975-1979 genocide] ended following the Vietnamese invasion). It is not acceptable for Europe (by the way, those massacres in Africa and Asia settled not a single matter, while people who initiated and led them got killed in a short time).

Therefore, in any case we have to come to an agreement. Then the agreement can’t be a halfway one. There can be no ideological compromise with Nazism. So, the Nazi mob, which presently considers that Ukraine stays clean from Nazism, once we’ve won, firstly must get convinced that no, it doesn’t, and secondly that it was fighting the Nazism on its own whenever and wherever possible.

Otherwise this war will cast a shadow over decades. Even to the third generation, the revanchists will be ready to take advantage of whatever problems of ours in order to revenge.

If you can’t kill the carrier of ideology, kill the ideology. It’s difficult, but the only thing to do.

Russia should pay for the restoration of Donetsk and Luhansk, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said on Sunday, according to Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda.

"As for the reconstruction of the Donbas - I think it is logical to put the question of reparations to the Russian Federation. They destroyed the Donbas, and Russia should pay for the restoration of Donetsk and Luhansk," Yatseniuk said.

"They [Russia] have destroyed our economy, they carried out a military intervention, a military aggression. And they should be held responsible for that," he said.

As reported earlier, in December 2014 Yatseniuk said that Ukraine submitted a number of lawsuits against the Russian Federation seeking compensation for damage caused by its military aggression.

Earlier, Yatseniuk said that the amount of damage from the military actions in the east of Ukraine totaled $8 billion.

"Recently, we have assessed the rebuilding of infrastructure as UAH 8 billion. Now the hryvnia can be replaced with a dollar," Yatseniuk said.

Saker commentary: so "Iats" is saying that it was the Russian Federation which destroyed the Donbass, not the junta's artillery.  Nevermind that while the junta was laying waste to Novorussia the Russian Federation was sending numerous convoys of aid to the Donbass which Kiev (and Uncle Sam) declared an "invasion".  "Iats" also seems believe that Russia ought to rebuilt a Donbass even though he also seems to want the Donbass to remain part of his Banderastan.  I hereby nominate Iats for the "chutzpah Nobel prize for 2015".

Listen to this Ukrainian Nazi, speaking in Russian with his fellow Ukrainians, explaining that there are no peaceful civilians in Donetsk but only collaborators of the enemy.  As soon as he is done spewing his hatred he gets hit by an artillery shell.  Call it 'karma' or remember the words of the 3rd Psalm "thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly" but this guy sure got what he deserved.  See for yourself:

The Nazi plan for Novorussia: children bombed into basements and total war

You probably have not heard about that, but the Junta in Kiev has officially declared that it plans to suspend the European Convention on Human Rights in Novorussia.  Of course, considering that Poroshenko has also declared that he is ready for 'total war' with Russia, this is hardly surprising, and it's not like the Ukrainian death squads have ever let any kind of human rights stand in the way of their atrocities against the civilian population of the Donbass.  As for Poroshenko, he appears to be practicing for the upcoming 'total war' against Russia by waging a 'total war' against his own people.  Here is, in his own words, how he plans to win the war against "these people":


So the plan is clear: total ethnic cleansing of Novorussia, if needed by means of a total economic blockade and/or a new military offensive. 

In the meantime, Human Rights Watch is seriously publishing reports about human rights violations in Crimea, I kid you not.  You got to love these noble humanitarians...

The Ukrainian slogan was "Ukraine is Europe".  I think that it is time to reverse that slogan.  In terms of hypocrisy, corruption, immorality, cowardice and sheer stupidity it is Europe which has become like the Ukraine, not the other way around.

Murderous lawyers, mainstream officials, the decline of the state and fish soup

Several of you have posted links about that in the comments, but I want to confirm in a separate post that the murderous thug I mentioned a yesterday has been identified. Here is the info Russia Insider posted about him:

Apparently he was arrested on charges of violence during the melee, and held for a while, but then released. During the court proceeding deciding his release, pro-Kiev activists demonstrated in support of him in front of the court buildings.His name is Vsevolod Goncharevskii (middle name: Eduardovich). He is a lawyer, and well-known pro-Kiev activist. 47 years old, a resident of Odessa. Here he is speaking to local TV stations (in Russian). Here are three news stories (in Russian) reporting his arrest, trial, and release.

So the authorities new about him and even put him on trial but then let him go. But that is hardly the most interesting fact. The most amazing about this story is that Goncharevskii is STILL not only an activist of the Euromaindan movement, but even a leader!
After the brutal assault on the Parliamentarian Nestor Shufrich yesterday, the leadership of the Euromaidan movement organized a press conference today to explain that it was all Shufrich's fault because he had not business coming to the city of Odessa in the first place. This is the standard Ukie notion about "Euro-democracy" and "free speech", so that is not what is amazing. But take a look at the video and guess who is sitting second from the right?



Yup! It's Vsevolod "Seva" Goncharevskii himself.

[By the way, the mayor of Odessa, Palitsa, has also declared that Shufrich is a provocateur and that he assaulted the Right Sector thugs. But then, Odessa now "belongs" to Igor Kolomoiskii, so all that is par for the course.]

So not only are the Ukie Nazis blaming a victim for a brutal assault, but they are quite happy to sit together with a well-known murderous thug. And I am not talking about some minor Nazi gang or some Right Sector people here, not at all, I am talking about the very mainstream and "highly respectable" Odessa Coordination Center of the Euromaindan movement. It don't get more mainstream then that. At least not in Nazi Banderastan.

In fact, Seva Goncharevskii is all over the news in Banderastan. Here, he demonstrates with his Right Sector pals in support of the Ukrainian armed forces. Here he is helping volunteers did trenches around Odessa. Here he is being interviewed and protests he persecution by the authorities and claims, in perfect Russian, that he is totally innocent.

This example is a perfect illustration of the true face of the Euroukraine which I call "Banderastan". An ugly, racist, unapologetically Nazi and thuggish face, the face of a "Ukrainian Interahamwe" - a monster created by the West, nurtured by the West for centuries, and a monster which is now armed and free to roam the Ukrainian land.

In the meantime, the "popular lustrations" (mob attacks on people deemed "disloyal") continue, and even though they are completely illegal, the cops do nothing. Over the past 24 hours, many people, including at least one hospital director, have been brutally assaulted, tossed into trash containers and forced to sign letters of resignation.

On a semi-comical note, the Rada is now proposing that only those who have been officials in the previous administration for more than one full year be "lustrated". Why? Because Poroshenko served as Minister of Trade and Economic Development for Yanukovich for a little less than a year.

In reality none of this is funny in the least.  It is, however, significant because all these are clear signs of a society falling apart, of a social order basically destroyed and replaced by a rule by violence on all levels.  This is most important because a society which goes down that road cannot do anything but comprehensively collapse because, truly, it ceases to be a "society".

It is an open question as to whether there is really any kind of "authority" in the rump-Ukraine.  While Poroshenko appears to have some control over Kiev while Kolomoiskii "own" Odessa, it is only the Right Sector which has branches in all of the rump-Ukraine and enough activists to scare any official or civil servant from Lvov to Dnepropetrovsky and from Chernigov to Odessa.  This all begins to look eerily similar to Afghanistan, Libya or Iraq were one group (more or less) controls the capital while the rest of the country is completely out of control and run by various armed gangs.

The Ukraine was always a historical fiction, a completely artificial entity, originally conceived by the Papacy but which truly acquired a material form only thanks to Lenin and Stalin (they Ukies should be not be tossing down their statues, they should honor them as their "founding fathers, really).  But from 1991 through 2013 it did exist.  It was very imperfect and it suffered from many problems, but at least it did exist.  Now that Ukraine is gone forever.  If you boil an aquarium, it is easy to make fish soup out of it.  But you cannot turn a fish soup back into an aquarium.  What we are observing today is this process of "social boiling" from which there is no way back.

Today, the Parliamentarian Nestor Shufrich was beat up by thugs of the Right Sector.  The cops stood by and watched.

In Kharkov, a man was found impaled on a church fence, his body attached with electrician's tape to the fence.  Medical gloves were found on the site.  According to witnesses, he was killed by Right Sector activists on suspicion of being a sympathizer of Novorussia.  According to official police reports, this man impaled himself and, presumably, having done that, found the time and energy to securely attach himself to the fence with tape.

While the Ukraine is rapidly progressing in its "civilizational choice", the EU is keeping up its sanctions on Russia "judging that Ukraine's peace deal is not fully effective".

I am still personally in "maintenance mode" until this evening, but I wanted to drop by to urge you all to check out my latest post on Russia Insider and, especially, the "forensic video" RI posted today which clearly shows the face of one the leaders of the Nazi gangs of "Ukrainian Interahamwe" which murdered an unknown number of people (officially 42, according to Novorussian sources over 200) in Odessa on May 2nd 2014.

If you can, please circulate this video for three reasons: first, it could force the Ukrainian authorities to take action against this man; second because the issue of gross human right violations by "Euro-Ukrainians" needs to be raised to force the regimes in power in Europe to look at the kind of Nazi thugs they have taken as "allies" in their war against Russia; third, to try to get the MSM to look into this issue.

Why Novorussia will never again accept Kiev's rule

Over the past couple of days I have spend a lot (too lot) of time dealing with the immediate issues such as the dying (or already defunct?) ceasefire agreement.  Whatever importance one can give to this document and its meaning (or lack thereof), it is important not go get bogged down and do what the French call "avoir le nez dans le guidon" (to "have your nose in the handlebars" of a bike - not to see where the road is leading you). 

Whenever I look at where our road is leading us I always come to the very same conclusion: it is my belief that Novorussia will never accept anything less than de-facto independence from Kiev.

Sure, this independence might be piously 'concealed' behind a thin layer of symbolic Ukrainian unity, but there is simply no way that Kiev will ever have real, effective, authority over Novorussia again.  I think that even Russia will have to accept that, however reluctantly.

Now I heard that Poroshenko has made a major political statement today and that he declared that the Donbass might have some "special status", but that this would most definitely NOT be any type of federalization and that no DPR (Donetsk People's Republic) or LPR (Lugansk People's Republic) will ever be recognized by Kiev.  I applaud Poroshenko for making that unambiguously clear statement as this only reinforces my deeply held conviction that both Novorussia and Russia proper have no other solution that regime change in Kiev.  Although as this point in time this might appear an impossible task to complete, the Ukraine must be (and will be!) completely de-Nazified before any form of peace can return.

I want to share just one example of why I believe that total de-Nazification is an absolute prerequisite for peace.  Check out the kind of "packages" mothers in Donetsk have been sent by one of the terror battalions paid for, and subordinated to, Igor Kolomoiski:



These are the severed heads of Novorussian soldiers captured by the Ukie death squads near Donetsk.  The Ukies, of course, blamed this latest atrocity on some unidentified "Chechens" fighting on, of all things, the Novorussian side, but everybody got the message loud and clear anyway: leave before we kill you.

So when I speak of Nazi freaks or "Ukie Interahamwe" I am not being over the top at all.  One the key aspects of the Junta's strategy is to empty the Donbass of its population, ethnic cleansing if you prefer.  Some have left temporarily, and others have probably left forever, but just as in Gaza, those committing these atrocities are deluding themselves if they think everybody whom they will not kill will leave.  The human spirit is always stronger than terror, at least in the long run, and unless a true genocide is a real option (and in this case it is not), this terror will not achieve it's intended result.  In fact, it will only strengthen the determination of these people to fight. At any cost.

Poroshenko can lie to his people and/or even delude himself.  Putin might hope that some kind of unitary Ukraine can still be preserved, but I am personally convinced that 1) Novorussia will never return under Kiev's rule and 2) that the war will continue until regime change occurs and the Ukraine de-Nazified.  Finally, I believe that even if regime change occurs in Kiev and the rump-Ukraine is de-Nazified, Novorussia will still not accept anything short of de-facto independence from Kiev.  The wisdom for the future non-Nazi regime in Kiev will be to accept the inevitability of this and make the best of it: the rest of the Ukraine will be much better of rebuilding itself from the smoking rubble than to try to persuade Novorossia to come back, nevermind force it to do so.

I understand that we are still very far from this, maybe a year away or, more likely, many years away.  But just like the liberation of Palestine is a historical inevitability so is the independence of Novorussia.  The price to pay for this outcome might be huge, and the wait very long.  But this does not make this outcome less inevitable.

I think that it is important to keep this in mind, especially through the tragic and often discouraging times we are currently going through.

What is "Banderastan"?

I have coined the word "Banderastan" to refer to the rump-Ukraine currently controlled by the Nazi junta in Kiev.  The term, of course, is a reference to the Ukie "hero" Stepan Bandera combined with the Persian suffix "stan" which means "land of".  Of course, in reality, rump-Ukraine (that is the Ukraine as it was between 1991 and 2014 minus Crimea and minus the Donbass) is not controlled by the junta and its correct designation should really be "US/NATO occupied Ukraine".  But by calling it "Banderastan" I also refer to the uniquely Ukrainian ideological madness which gravitates around the cult of Stepan Bandera and the ideology of hate and self-worship which it conveys.  I have written enough about this rabid form of nationalism before, so today I want to illustrate less noticed aspect of this ideology: its sheer psychopathology.

Check out the following video.  It was jointly produced by the Creative agency Adventa LOWE, ADV Group Ukraine and the production studio LimeLite for the 23rd celebraton of the Ukraine's Independence Day.  The message at the end simply says "The Ukraine is hardened to pain".  And this is supposed to be a patriotic, inspiring, clip.  This is how the creators explained their goals:

The goal of the team is to encourage the (Ukrainian) people and show their love for their country. Because over the past 10 months, the Ukraine has experienced so much, that would be enough for ten years and ten states. Therefore, the authors would like to honor a difficult path that the country is facing today, and leave an optimistic message for all Ukrainians.

Please note that the design, the pattern, which you see the person shown in the movie stitching on himself is a typical Ukrainian decorative pattern usually seen on a traditional Ukrainian shirt called a vyshivanka. Now see the video for yourself:


The first scary thing in this video is that the pain is clearly and unambiguously self-inflicted.  Second, that this pain is clearly an integral part of the aesthetic appeal of the clip along with the music and the trance-like dance.  Far from showing it as something disgusting (like self-mutilation is), this clip glorifies as beautiful and noble self-inflicted pain.  Frankly, in a happy and hedonistic society which is bored out of its mind and seeks some extreme emotions form piercing, this would really be no big deal.  But in a country torn apart by a vicious and bloody civil war, this king of glorification of pain as some kind of part of the national ethos is scary.

And make no mistake.  Behind all the agencies which produced the clip stand the regime.  This is quite easy to show.  The actor in the clip, Mikhail Gavrilyuk, is well-known for his participation in junta-backed disinformation campaigns and this clip is the junta's idea of something like a "patriotic public service announcement".  Scary, scary shit...

No wonder the folks of Novorussia want absolutely nothing to do with these freaks and their Banderastani ideology.  Can you imagine what any mentally sane person would feel when these freaks show up in their village and declare that henceforth they are the "authorities"?

I would most definitely grab my AK and also join the Resistance.

Commentary:

So the Ukies have deliberately done in Lugansk what they have already done in Slaviansk just before the assault: they destroyed the city's water supply. In the meantime, other Ukie forces have used MLRS systems to bomb and destroy a column of refugees fleeing from the combat area.

It is crucial to understand that these are not "mistakes".

In reality, this is typical US/NATO doctrine. Most of you probably remember the threat of Secretary Baker made to Tarek Aziz in 1991 "We will destroy your country and bring it back to the stone age.” For a while, Uncle Sam tried to sell this theory as "shock and awe", but the real description of it would, of course, be "target and terrorize the civilian population". Nothing new here. This is what the US military has been doing most of its history, for the Indian wars to Libya and Syria in our times. But the best example of this was the terror war against Yugoslavia in support of the KLA in Kosovo. There, the USAF and NATO totally failed at even marginally degrading the Serbian Army Corps in Kosovo so they turned to a strategic terror campaign against the people of Serbian and Montenegro. This is also what Israel does every time Hezbollah defeats it (which is every time the two fight).

In the Ukraine we see exactly the same scenario playing out. The sole difference being that with the Ukies the terror against civilians began on day 1 as soon as Yanukovich was overthrown, especially in Kiev, Odessa and Kharkov. But pretty soon the junta organized something like a military force and sent it to fight the Resistance in Novorussia. Soon, however, it became painfully obvious that the Ukie military did not want to fight and that the Ukie terror squads could not fight. So, naturally, they both turned against the civilians, just like the US and NATO always do.

Though they will not admit it, the junta leaders probably realize that the Donbass is lost forever and that even if they occupy it, all they will get for it in a never-ending insurgency. So from the point of view of the Nazi junta, terrorizing civilians is a perfect strategy: either they leave or the die. And, as an added bonus, if the junta commits enough atrocities, Russia might be forced to intervene, which would be a dream come true for the junta and Uncle Sam.

But some reporters, even well-intentioned one, just don't get it. For example, they say that the Tochka-U missile is inaccurate and that it cannot be accurately targeted. This is not true at all. The missile is called "Tochka" which means "spot" or even "dot" because it is extremely accurate. It's "inaccuracy" is not in the fact that it cannot precisely be targeted, but because its warhead can kill everything alive on a surface of three acres, more with a cluster of FAE warhead. When the Ukies shoot a Tochka-U at a residential neighborhood of Lugansk (like they did yesterday) they are deliberately trying to kill as many civilians as possible. Ditto for their massive MLRS strikes. For the Ukies civilians are not "collateral damage" - they are the primary target.

From all the reports, the junta has more or less given up on the notion of actually fighting the Resistance. Instead, they try to terrorize and kill as many civilians as possible, and they use their numerical superiority to probe everywhere along the line of contact. If a location appears less defended, they then "take it" - even if the "conquered" position was not even defended in the first place. It makes for good soundbites and headlines in the MSM.

Now they have destroyed the main water supply station in Lugansk. Again, this is not a mistake. Just like the numerous artillery strikes against local hospitals, including cancer-treatment facilities, the destruction of the civilian infrastructure is logical "if we can't have it - neither will you" is how Uncle Sam and his death squads have always operated. This is why the Ukies have now begun bombing the coal mines.

What the Ukies are doing is a terror campaign of ethnic cleansing which is deliberate and systematic. All that talk about "poor targeting" and "mistakes" is nonsense.

The culture wars of the glorious Ukrs of Banderastan

The culture wars in Banderastan are in full swing.  Most of you know that Ukie historiography is, shall we say, 'peculiar'.  It ranges through a compelte re-writing of the history of the territory which after 1991 was called the "Ukraine", but it includes all sorts of bizarre claims about the ancient "Ukr" people who, believe it or not, built the pyramids in Egypt, were the most ancient civilization on the planet from whom ancient Greece learned most of what it is famous for and whose glorious descendants included not only Petro Poroshenko, but also Mary the Mother of God who, as it turns out, was not Jewish, but a blue-eyed Ukie.  But such wars cannot be only waged in the past, they must also be waged in the present.

Recently, the Ukie Ministry of Culture announced that it was banning two Russian made movies, "The White Guard" (based on a book by Bulgakov) and "Poddubny" (a biography of the famous wrestler Ivan Poddubnyi).  This is of course kind of pathetic, if not medieval.  But it gets better: the Ukie Ministry of the Interior has announced, on Facebook, that it is preparing a list of 500 (five hundred!) Russian artists which will be banned in the Ukraine because they were guilty of expressing support for the reunification of Crimea with Russia.

Amazing, no?  First these noble descendants of the "Ukrs" have openly hunted journalists, now they are banning artists.  I guess they see that as a way to become more Euro-compatible maybe?

The next logical steps would be to replace the Cyrillic script by the West European Latin one and to block access to the Russian Internet in Banderastan.  Or ban the possession of books by Bulgakov or Gogol?  And most definitely outlaw the music of Rachmaninov, Scriabin or Bortniansky.

And in the meantime, the junta is using ballistic missiles against its own population.  But nobody in Europe seems to notice or care.  After all, there is no evidence of any "gays" killed in these strikes.

Well, it happens because Donbass, in general, is not simply a region in a very depressed condition, it has got a whole number of problems, the biggest of which is that it is severely overpopulated with people nobody has any use for. Trust me I know perfectly well what I am saying.

If we take, for example, just the Donetsk oblast, there are approximately 4 million inhabitants, at least 1.5 million of which are superfluous. That's what I mean: we don't need to [try to] "understand" Donbass, we need to understand Ukrainian national interests.

Donbass must be exploited as a resource, which it is. I don't claim to have a quick solution recipe, but the most important thing that must be done - no matter how cruel it may sound - is that there is a certain category of people that must be exterminated.
