A bird's eye view of the vineyard
Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew (10:26) and Saint John (8:32)
To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.
Arundhati Roy

Thou shalt not be a bystander

I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill. I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent. Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.Mahatma Gandhi
I am for truth, no matter who tells it.

Thanks for the maps. It's amazing how so many news publications fail to provide one. How can you talk about war and battle without them?
And thanks for your thanks to you! I am trying hard to provide extensive coverage of what is in essence US-Russian war and nobody seems to give a damn about it all... Its encouraging to see that somebody cares!
