Rebels in eastern Libya have said they will not negotiate unless Col Muammar Gaddafi quits and goes into exile. The National Libyan Council in the city of Benghazi also called for foreign intervention to stop government air strikes on the rebels. The council is led by former Libyan Interior Minister Mustafa Abdel-Jalil, who defected last month.

Exactly what I feared
Oh, and guess what? Mr. Mustafa Abdel-Jalil also declares that he as proof that Gaddafi 'personally' gave the order for the bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie. Interesting statement considering that neither Gaddafi personally nor Libya did the Pan Am 103 bombing...
And just to make absolutely sure that the Imperial leaders would correctly appreciate his capabilities, he also declared that "responsibility for the infection of 400 children with HIV lay totally with Muammar al-Gaddafi's regime". I guess pretty soon will we hear that the Gaddafi regime did 9-11 with OBL and Gaddafi also tried to kill the Pope.
He guy defected LAST MONTH and now he is already the 'Leader of the National Libyan Council'.
Am I the only one who thinks that this reeks to high heaven?! Is there not something very, very wrong with this picture?!
Speaking of pictures, I like to compare these two:
