Does this guy look Iranian to you?

According to the CSM this is the guy who blew up the Israeli bus yesterday.  Does he look Iranian to you?

Also, besides the typical shorts and baseball hat, this guy was carrying a US passport "believed to be fake".   What basis does this "belief" have?  According to whom?  Other sources speak of a Michigan driver's license, also fake, of couse.

Now look at the long hair, black shades and hat.  Does that not remind you of Israeli hit team in Dubai?

Just saying...

In the meantime, Lieberman says that Hezbollah did it,  while Netanyahu and Barak blame Iran.  Lieberman even spoke of "Hezbollah, in close cooperation with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)".

Iran, Hezbollah, IRGC - same difference, right?

As for Meir Javedanfar, an Iran "expert" at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, he did not rule out the possibility of an al-Qaeda operation.

All that is missing are Neo-Nazis...

Another flase flag in Bulgaria?

Somebody blew up an Israeli bus in Bulgaria, and Netanyahu immediately blames Iran and add the following threat: "All the signs lead to Iran. Israel will respond forcefully to Iranian terror".

Sure comes at a good time for the Israeli regime.

Another false flag?

A false fag operation in Damascus?

WOW!  That was my first thought when I heard the news of the bombing in Syria.  So far, the details are sketchy, and I don't trust the anglo corporate media one bit, but I do follow the news on Russian TV - unlike most Western news outlets - which has correspondents in Damascus and what they report is absolutely mind-boggling.  According to the Russian TV, an individual associated with the Syrian military managed to bring a bomb not only inside a State Security building, but actually inside the room in which a meeting of all senior Syrian security official was taking place.  The results are devastating:
  1. Minister of Defense: dead
  2. Minister of the Interior: dead
  3. Head of Military Intelligence: dead
  4. Minister of Foreign Affairs: critical condition
  5. Head of Internal Security: critical condition
And while various Islamists organizations have immediately claimed credit for this operation, I don't buy it quiet yet.

My problem is the same one I had with the murder of Imad Mugniyeh: access.

I have worked in highly secured buildings and I know that it is for all practical purpose impossible to bring a bomb inside such a facility.  We are told that the individual who brought the bomb and detonated it must have been very well-known to the services in charge of securing the building.  Maybe.  But how did he get past the last circle of body-guards?!  Surely he was not expected to participate to the meeting, right?  So how did he get passed this last, but very powerful, line of defense?

So let me, for a second, indulge in a possibly sterile exercise and ask the following: besides the Islamists, who else might have been interesting in decapitating the entire state security apparatus of Syria?

Israel and/or the US?  Maybe, but how could they possibly have that kind of access?  For all the propaganda, the US and Israeli intelligences services are rather mediocre and are not nearly as well connected as they like to have people believe.

Maybe Hezbollah, Iran or Russia got really fed with the the dimwits who are clearly unable to handle the insurgency and they decided to "suggest" or even "help" Assad to get rid of all of them?  Much more likely, but only if they used local Syrian assets to make their own "regime change" in Syria and only if they had strong assurances from Assad that he agreed with such a dramatic action and that more competent successors would be appointed.

Now what do we know about the people which were killed.  They were all critical regime security officials, that is sure, but I would also add that considering what has happened in Syria over the past 18 months, these people were amazingly incompetent.  Now, depending on who is appointed to replace them, might today's bombing not be to the regime's advantage?  Think of it: get rid of these bloody, corrupt and incompetant thugs and then blame it on al-Qaeda or some other band of crazies and replace them by (hopefully) more competency successors...

Could it be that Assad is the real organizer of today's bombing?  Is it so unlikely that Russia or Iran might have quietly indicated to him that one effective way to painlessly appoint halfway competent people to key positions would be to get rid of the incompetent ones without letting them do like  Brig. Gen. Manaf Tlass and run away to France?

The above are only musings, guesses and disjointed thoughts, nothing more, and if I am wrong it is probably because no matter how clueless, hapless and dumb Baathists have proven to be everywhere, I just cannot fathom them to be so totally stupid as to let some guy linked to Islamists get inside a security cabinet meeting with a bomb.  That just seems incredible to me.  But maybe I am under estimating the level of incompetence of the Syrian Mukhabarat agencies.

It will be most interesting to see whom Assad will appoint to succeed those who were killed today.  If we have "more of the same" probably followed by a rapid regime collapse I will reluctantly have to admit that the US/Israel/al-Qaeda did somehow succeed in a truly masterful decapitation operation.  But if young and competent successors are appointed and if they take proactive action to gently ease Assad out of power while keeping the Wahabi crazies at bay, I will continue to suspect that some real "friend of Syria" masterminded the entire thing.

What do you think?  Do you buy the "lone bomber" theory?

The truth about Srebrenica finally?

With the recent postponement of the trial of Ratko Mladic in the Hague I have been looking around the Internet to see if any new interesting documents about the so-called "Srebrenica genocide" had come out and I came across a most remarkable documentary which has been online since 2011 but which I only noticed today.  It is a truly remarkable piece of investigation which I urge everybody to watch and download (just in case it it pulled by YouTube).

As some of you know, during the war in Bosnia I had daily access to confidential UNPROFOR information about what was really going on in Bosnia and I would like to say the following about this documentary:

I can confirm many, though not all, of the facts presented here and all those which I cannot confirm are fully consistent with what I know.  In fact, this report is, by far, the best I have ever seen on this topic.

The parts which I cannot confirm are the negotiations and discussions happening inside the Muslim Bosnian military and political leadership.  The part which I can fully confirm is the chronology and details of the Bosnian-Serb entry into Srebrenica and the nature and circumstances of the killing of Bosnian-Muslims by Bosnian-Serb forces.  The figures given in the movie are exactly the ones I am aware of.

I would like to add three elements which are not mentioned in the movie:

a) The Dutch UNPROFOR battalion commander and the UN Secretary-General's Personal Representative Yasushi Akashi made *numerous* request for NATO airpower to stop the Bosnian-Serb forces from entering Srebrenica and all those request were denied by the NATO political leadership.

b) Not all the 5'000+ Bosnian-Muslim solider of the Oric Infantry Brigade (aka " ABiH 2nd Corps 28th Mountain Division") was killed by Bosnian-Serb forces.  Many made it through the mountains and arrived in refugee camps in Tuzla and other cities.

c) Some Bosnian-Muslim civilians who were fleeing with the Oric forces also made it to Tuzla and other areas.  Many disappeared later in the war and their names were added to the list of "victims of the Srebrenica genocide".

The truth is finally coming out, but so many years later does anybody care?

You tell me.

Kindergarten false flag ops and other nonesense (UPDATED)

Remember the ridiculous fairytale about the  "Iranian terrorist' arrested in the USA"?  Well, it looks like these kinds of "kindergarten false flag operations" are picking up pace.  After the clueless Iranian 'terrorist' in the USA, we were told about a clueless bomber in Delhi (who only managed to wound a few people) and a homemade toy bomb in Georgia (it used a regular hand grenade).  Now it get even better: we have "Iranian bomber blows himself up" in Thailand.

This reminds me of The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight comedy: if that is all the terrorism the world is facing, we can all safely sleep and just wait for these wannabe terrorists to blow themselves up to smithereens...

And to think that deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage called Hezbollah the "A-Team of terrorists" only to have the Iranians and Hezbollah act like teenage wannabe terrorists who cannot get a single attack to produce even one fatality!

Seriously, one can wonder what is going on here.  After all, the US/Israeli Empire has the world for most experts on false flag terrorism!  The people who organized Operation Gladio in Europe and who did 9/11 at home are not teenagers, but world-class experts with an impressive record of extremely well executed complex false flag operations.

And yet, the nonsense does not stop here.

Turns out, the Yanks are have sent an aircraft carrier into the Strait of Hormuz for a second time already.  Now what are they trying to prove to the Iranians?  How stupid they really are?  Seriously, if there is one place on earth were you do not want to put an aircraft carrier it is a strait, any strait (nevermind an enemy controlled one!).

All this talk about the Iranians sinking a US carrier is utter nonsense unless, of course, the USN is dumb enough to actually put a carrier into the SoH!   That is about the only spot in the world oceans were the Iranians really could sink a US carrier, rather rapidly and easily in fact.

But the USN is not dumb, not at all, and it fully understands that an aircraft carrier is a blue-water beast, that has to be keep hundreds of miles away from its potential targets. This is why USN air operations doctrine does not call for sticking a carrier in any strait, much less so an enemy-controlled one.   In fact, I predict that the USN will flush all its major surface vessels out of the Persian Gulf before any strike on Iran (that would be a good 'indicator and warning' of an imminent attack) as any USN ship trapped inside the Persian Gulf when the missiles start flying would be a sitting duck for the Iranian military.

So unless some super secret (and skilled!) Iranian-Hezbollah bioterror attack force has managed to infect the Empire's leaders with an infantile stupidity inducing virus, I don't really understand what all this means.

It all looks like a bad B-series slapstick comedy movie and it all would be hilarious indeed if many thousands of innocent lives were not potentially at stake.

NATO lukewarm on intervention - are false flags next?

Following NATO's meeting today it appears that the organization is lukewarm about the idea of a military intervention in Libya, including a no-fly zone.  The fact that the very same folks who illegally attacked Yugoslavia are now seriously speaking about the "need for legal sanction" is really rather disgusting, but it's good news anyway.

So what's next?

Well, a situation a la Afghanistan following the Soviet withdrawal is one possibility.  Remember what happened then?  The Najibullah regime managed to stay in power for another two years until the Taliban, the Northern Alliance and, mostly, the Pakistanis succeeded in re-taking Kabul (and promptly murdering him).  The comparison should not be taken too far, of course as there are big differences between the two situations, but something similar could well be in the making if nobody intervenes.

Which brings me to my next point.  Several media reports recently mentioned some huge gas storage facility (don't recall the name or location) which, if it exploded, would provoke a massive blast followed by an equally massive release of toxic gas resulting in many thousands of dead people.

Well, are you catching my drift?

In these "post-9/11" times when false flags are so successful, all it takes, at least according to the reports I have heard, one missile or round and the whole thing goes into the air?  How hard do you think it would be for the USraeli Empire to deliver such a missile right on target?  (That would be a *perfect* mission for a B-2 bomber, by the way...)

Would that not be a wonderful 'proof' that foreign military intervention is the "only way to stop this horrible massacre" and all the rest of the rhetoric we heard in Bosnia?

Another possibility would be a chemical attack on anti-regime forces which, of course, would be automatically and immediately blamed on Gaddafi without so much as a modicum of investigation?

Considering the huge wealth at stake, I would say that those who want a foreign military intervention and who "cannot" "afford" a situation like the one following the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan are very likely to try a false flag 'atrocity' to force NATO's hand.

We should all now be hyper-critical of any report of atrocities coming out Libya.

South Korean newspaper exonerates North over torpedo

A South Korean newspaper claims Russian investigators have found North Korea did not torpedo one of the South's warships that sank in spring. The report says the vessel hit a mine.

Russia has not yet commented on the story.

The "Cheonan" sank off the Korean peninsula in March, with the loss of 46 sailors.

Earlier, a US-backed international investigation found Pyongyang responsible. However, Pavel Leshakov, the director of Korean studies at the Moscow State University, says the conclusion is “almost 100 per cent political.”

Watch full interview with Pavel Leshakov:

Russia sent its own team of investigators to the region last month.

North Korea has continuously denied any links to the incident.

The incident has made the tense situation on the divided peninsula even worse. But it could potentially develop to become even uglier, says investigative journalist Wayne Madsen.

“This is very critical, because if there is a smoking gun – this could have been a set-up, this was some sort of accident made look like hostile action or it was some sort of false flag attack, this could result in war against a nuclear armed-country, North Korea,” Madsen asserts.

Canadian foreign policy analyst Stephen Gowans says war in the region “could be possible, however we can also look at this as an on-going programme of the United States and South Korea to impose enormous military pressure on North Korea with the goal of seeing it collapse.”

Watch full interview with Stephen Gowans:

Pyotr Razvin from the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, believes despite the high tension, the chances of an actual war are limited.

"Both North and South Korea see the perspective of a war as mutually assured destruction. If a conflict were to erupt, the Korean peninsula would be economically devastated. Besides, neighbouring China has no interest in a war on its borders either, be it a nuclear or not."

Watch the full interview with Dr. Jae-Jung Suh:

Dr. Jae-Jung Suh of the Korea Studies Program at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC argued that the report presented by the international investigation faulting North Korea may have errors.

Suh’s report casts doubt on North Korea's guilt and the use of a torpedo, arguing that the evidence does not prove North Korea nor a torpedo were at fault.

“We do not argue that the North Koreans did not do it. What we are arguing is that the joint investigative group of the South Korean government has failed to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the North Korean torpedo hit the ship and sunk it,” said Suh.

He argued that the biggest inconsistency is the white power found on the ship by the investigative group; he argued that it did not result from an explosion. Lab experiments and analysis have replicated the chemical process, showing that the powder was rust from water exposure over time, aluminum hydroxide, not a result of the explosion.

The ‘Underwear Bomber’ story reeks to high heaven

The Strange Case of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab

by Tom Burghardt for Dissident Voice

Despite some $40 billion dollars spent by the American people on airline security since 2001, allegedly to thwart attacks on the heimat, the botched attempt by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to bring down Northwest Airlines Flight 253 over Detroit on Christmas Day was foiled, not by a bloated counterterrorist bureaucracy, but by the passengers themselves.

Talk about validating that old Wobbly slogan: Direct action gets the goods!

And yet, the closer one looks at the available evidence surrounding the strange case of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the more sinister alleged “intelligence failures” become. As this story unfolds it is becoming abundantly clear that U.S. security officials had far more information on the would-be lap bomber than we’ve been told.

The Observer revealed January 3 that the British secret state had Abdulmutallab on their radar for several years and that he had become “politically involved” with “extremist networks” while a student at University College London, where he served as president of the Islamic Society.

Examining “e-mail and text traffic,” security officers claim to have belatedly discovered that “he has been in contact with jihadists from across the world since 2007.”

Indeed, The Sunday Times disclosed that the 23-year-old terrorism suspect was “‘reaching out’ to extremists whom MI5 had under surveillance.” The officials said that Abdulmutallab was “’starting out on a journey’ in Britain” that culminated with last week’s attempt to destroy Flight 253.

It is claimed by unnamed “British officials” that “none of this information was passed” to their American counterparts; on the face of it, this appears to be a rank mendacity.

The Sunday Times further reported that security officials have “now passed a file” to American counterterrorism officers that show “his repeated contacts with MI5 targets who were subject to phone taps, email intercepts and other forms of surveillance.”

None of this should surprise anyone, however. In light of multiple prior warnings which preceded past terrorist atrocities, the selective leaking of information to the British media in its own way, buttresses the official story that the near-tragedy aboard Flight 253 was simply the result of ubiquitous “intelligence failures.”

But as we have seen with Mohamed Atta, Richard Reid and Mohammad Sidique Khan, Abdulmutallab’s “journey” was one undertaken by many before, often with a wink-and-a-nod by British and American security officials when it served the geostrategic ambitions of their political masters.

As security researcher and analyst Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed wrote in New Internationalist in October: “Islamist terrorism cannot be understood without acknowledging the extent to which its networks are being used by Western military intelligence services, both to control strategic energy resources and to counter their geopolitical rivals. Even now, nearly a decade after 9/11, covert sponsorship of al-Qaeda networks continues.”

Networks which Ahmed and other analysts such as Michel Chossudovsky, Peter Dale Scott and Richard Labévière have painstakingly documented, enjoy the closest ties with Western intelligence agencies stretching back decades.

That intelligence officers, including those at the highest levels of the secret state’s security apparat, did nothing to hamper an alleged al-Qaeda operative from getting on that plane–in a chilling echo of the 9/11 attacks–calls into question the thin tissue of lies outlined in the official narrative.

An Intelligence “Failure,” or a Wild “Success” for Security Corporations?

Charged December 26 with attempting to blow up a U.S. airliner, according to The Washington Post Abdulmutallab “was listed in a U.S. terrorism database.”

The Post reported that the suspect’s name “was added in November to the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment, or TIDE.” It is further described as a “catch-all list” which “contains about 550,000 individuals” and is maintained by “the Office of the Director of National Intelligence at the National Counterterrorism Center.”

However, The New York Times revealed December 31 that the “National Security Agency four months ago intercepted conversations among leaders of Al Qaeda in Yemen discussing a plot to use a Nigerian man for a coming terrorist attack.”

Times‘ reporters Mark Mazzetti and Eric Lipton, citing unnamed “government officials,” disclosed that “the electronic intercepts were translated and disseminated across classified computer networks” months before Abdulmutallab boarded Flight 253 in Amsterdam.

But when the NSA intercepts landed at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), overseen by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), analysts there “did not synthesize the eavesdropping intelligence with information gathered in November” when Abdulmutallab’s father provided the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria crucial information on his son’s involvement with the Afghan-Arab database of disposable Western intelligence assets, also known as al-Qaeda.

Seeking comment from NCTC proved to be a daunting task. As the Times delicately put it, “officials at the counterterrorist center … maintained a stoic silence on Wednesday, noting that the review ordered by President Obama was still under way.”

Despite revelations in the British press, the White House maintains that U.S. intelligence agencies “did not miss a ’smoking gun’” that could have prevented the botched attack, the Associated Press reported January 3.

White House aide John Brennan, citing “lapses” and “errors” in sharing intelligence said, “There was no single piece of intelligence that said, ‘this guy is going to get on a plane.’”

As we will soon see, Mr. Brennan has every reason to hide behind such mendacities.

Investigative journalist Tim Shorrock, the author of the essential book Spies For Hire, reported in CorpWatch, that NCTC is an outsourced counterterrorist agency chock-a-block with security contractors in the heavily-leveraged homeland security market.

Indeed, The Analysis Corporation (TAC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of defense and intelligence contractor Global Strategies Group/North America, “specializes in providing counterterrorism analysis and watchlists to U.S. government agencies.”

It is best known” according to Shorrock, “for its connection to John O. Brennan, its former CEO, a 35-year veteran of the CIA and currently President Obama’s chief counterterrorism adviser. Brennan, the first director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), retired from government in November 2005 and immediately joined TAC.”

Shorrock reports that “much of TAC’s business is with the NCTC itself. In fact, the NCTC is one of the company’s largest customers, and TAC provides counterterrorism (CT) support to ‘most of the agencies within the intelligence community,’ according to a company press release. One of its biggest customers is the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which manages the NCTC.”

During the 1990s” Shorrock relates, “TAC developed the U.S. government’s first terrorist database, ‘Tipoff,’ on behalf of the State Department.”

Shorrock chronicles how “the database was initially conceived as a tool to help U.S. consular officials and customs inspectors determine if foreigners trying to enter the United States were known or suspected terrorists.”

In the wake of the 9/11 attacks and subsequent reorganization of the U.S. security bureaucracy, the investigative journalist tells us that “in 2003, management of the database–which received information collected by a large number of agencies including the CIA, NSA, and FBI–was transferred to the CIA’s Terrorist Threat Integration Center (TTIC) and, later, to the National Counterterrorism Center.”

In 2005″ Shorrock discloses, “Tipoff was expanded and renamed the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment, or TIDE, and fingerprint and facial recognition software was added to help identify suspects as they crossed U.S. borders.”

Despite the utter worthlessness of a bloated database containing more than 1.3 million names according to the American Civil Liberties Union, and not the grossly undercounted figure of 550,000 cited by corporate media, TIDE has been a boon for TAC.

In the five years after 9/11″ Shorrock reveals, “its income quintupled, from less than $5 million in 2001 to $24 million in 2006. In 2006, TAC increased its visibility in the intelligence community by creating a ’senior advisory board’ that included three heavy hitters from the CIA: former Director George J. Tenet, former Chief Information Officer Alan Wade, and former senior analyst John P. Young.”

And what have the American people gained from inflating the corporatist bottom line? In light of the Christmas Day bombing attempt, not much.

As investigative journalists Susan and Joseph Trento revealed in their overlooked but highly-disturbing 2006 book, Unsafe At Any Altitude, most of the 9/11 hijackers, including Mohamed Atta, Hani Hanjour, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Majed Moqed “were flagged by CAPPS (Computer-Assisted Passenger Prescreening System).”

But because of CIA and FBI monkey-business that rendered watch-list information useless to stop suspected terrorists from boarding an airliner, “the only thing that was done as a result was that the baggage of several members of the Al Qaeda team was held on the ground until the cabin crew confirmed they had boarded as passengers.”

And when you consider that Abdulmutallab didn’t even have any baggage to check, alleged security “lapses” are even more glaring.

According to the Trentos, “the FBI, CIA, NSA, and Department of Homeland Security refuse to give the airlines an accurate no fly list, thereby allowing the most threatening terrorists to continue to fly.” Is there a pattern here? You bet there is!

An unnamed “counterterrorist official” told The Wall Street Journal December 31: “‘If you look back to these audit reports, there are significant issues raised with the accuracy and omissions to the watchlisting process that haven’t been fixed, clearly,’ as of Dec. 25. ‘Essentially you’re screening blindly, and that’s not effective’.”

However, we can be sure there will be very little in the way of a hard-hitting investigation into this alleged security breach. The New York Times reported that TAC’s former CEO John O. Brennan, has been “granted a special ethics waiver … to conduct a review of the intelligence and screening breakdown that preceded the failed Christmas Day bombing attempt on an American passenger plane over Detroit.”

Enter the CIA, Stage (Far) Right

What “other government agency” may have suppressed intelligence on the would-be bomber?

The CBS Evening News revealed December 29 that “as early as August of 2009,” tracking closely with the time-frame of NSA intercepts, “the Central Intelligence Agency was picking up information on a person of interest dubbed ‘The Nigerian,’ suspected of meeting with ‘terrorist elements’ in Yemen.”

Unnamed “intelligence sources” told CBS, “‘The Nigerian’ has now turned out to be Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.” But that connection “was not made when Abdulmutallab’s father went to the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria three months later, on November 19, 2009. It was then he expressed deep concerns to a CIA officer about his son’s ties to extremists in Yemen, a hotbed of al Qaeda activity.” CBS claims “this information was not connected until after the attempted Christmas Day bombing.”

Earlier reports have alleged that Umar’s father, a wealthy Nigerian banker and former high state official, Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, had only provided Embassy officials with a vague concern that his son’s estrangement “may have” something to do with his growing “religious fervor.” This too, turns out to be a lie.

The Times reported that a “family cousin quoted the father as warning officials from the State Department and the Central Intelligence Agency in Nigeria: ‘Look at the texts he’s sending. He’s a security threat’.”

Nothing vague in this disclosure, but rather more concrete evidence in the form of “texts” which we now know were shortstopped by British security and included “phone taps, email intercepts and other forms of surveillance” by MI5 that led an anguished father to express well-placed fears about his son to U.S officials.

But as the Times were told by their source, “They promised to look into it. They didn’t take him seriously.”

And here’s where things take a decidedly malevolent turn. According to the Times, “C.I.A. officials in Nigeria also prepared a separate report compiling biographical information about Mr. Abdulmutallab, including his educational background and the fact that he was considering pursuing academic studies in Islamic law in Yemen.”

That cable was sent to C.I.A. headquarters in Langley, Va.,” Mark Mazzetti and Eric Lipton disclosed, “but not disseminated to other intelligence agencies, government officials said on Wednesday.”

Then again, perhaps they knew all-too-well of Abdulmutallab’s glide path and chose instead to turn a blind eye. Coming on the heels of disclosures in the British media, the evidence suggests that CIA intelligence provided by NSA intercepts, their own on-the-ground operatives in Yemen and MI5 surveillance reports were scrupulously ignored by factions within the secret state who sat on critical information that withheld, would disarm and paralyze normal security procedures in the face of an attack they knew was imminent.

We were told by corporate media, infamously serving as an echo chamber for grifting politicians, Bushist officials and the 9/11 Commission’s 2004 whitewash, that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks resulted from “a failure of imagination” by counterterrorism officials to “connect the dots.”

Seems there were plenty of “dots” in Abdulmutallab’s case and yet, inexplicably, if you buy the official story, and sinisterly, if you don’t, not a single one was “connected” prior to the time he took his seat on Flight 253.

Despite the fact that Abdulmutallab was denied re-entry into Britain, paid $2,800 in cash for his “ticket to Paradise,” and had no luggage that normally would accompany a person holding a 2-year entry visa into the U.S., the erstwhile lap bomber scored a goal each time and eluded every intrusive “profile” presumably in place to keep us “safe.” Talk about a hat trick!

Available evidence suggests that Abdulmutallab should have landed on TSA’s hush-hush “Selectee list” for additional screening, or the agency’s “No-fly list.” And given NSA intercepts and a CIA biographical report on the suspect, this alone should have barred him from entering the country if “normal” security procedures were followed. They weren’t.

As The Independent on Sunday reported last week, “the revelation of Abdulmutallab’s background has confounded terror experts.” One such “expert,” Dr Magnus Ranstorp of the Center for Asymmetric Threat Studies at the Swedish National Defence College, told IoS that “the attempted bombing ‘didn’t square’.”

On the one hand” Ranstorp said, “it seems he’s been on the terror watch list but not on the no-fly list.”

That doesn’t square” Ranstorp elaborated, “because the American Department for Homeland Security has pretty stringent data-mining capability. I don’t understand how he had a valid visa if he was known on the terror watch list.”

Good question, Dr. Ranstorp. Perhaps because someone wanted him on that plane. The question is, who?

One would have thought, given the “special treatment” afforded antiwar activists by TSA at airports, that a warning about Abdulmutallab’s possible involvement with terrorists, by his own father no less, a former top official in a government friendly to Washington, numerous NSA intercepts, a CIA dossier and MI5 reports would have raised at least one red flag!

In the suspect’s case, there were so many red flags flying you’d have thought the Red Army was parading through Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport!

Then again, perhaps Abdulmutallab was on that plane because, as journalist Daniel Hopsicker was told by a former aviation executive during his investigation of the 9/11 attacks: “Sometimes when things don’t make business sense … its because they do make sense…just in some other way.”

As the World Socialist Web Site points out:

The general outlines of the Northwest bombing attempt and the 9/11 attacks are startlingly similar. One might even say that what is involved is a modus operandi. In both cases, those alleged to have carried out the actions had been the subject of US intelligence investigations and surveillance and had been allowed to enter the country and board flights under conditions that would normally have set off multiple security alarms.
Both then and now, the government and the media expect the public to accept that all that was involved was mistakes. But why should anyone assume that the failure to act on the extensive intelligence leading to Abdulmutallab involved merely “innocent” mistakes–and not something far more sinister? (Bill Van Auken, “The Northwest Flight 253 intelligence failure: Negligence or conspiracy?,” World Socialist Web Site, December 31, 2009)

And so dear readers with are left to ponder the question, cui bono? Who would benefit politically from a major terrorist incident on American soil, ready, willing and able to step into the breach and exploit the catastrophic loss of human life that would follow in its wake?

Who indeed.

Mossad Tied to ‘Underwear Bomber’ (thanks to L for this article - VS)

By Victor Thorn for American Free Press

“His explosives couldn’t have blown up his own seat. Even if full power, it wouldn’t have worked.” These were the words relayed to me during a Jan. 2 interview with military analyst and counterinsurgency specialist Gordon Duff in regard to the attempt of Christmas Day underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab [sometimes referred to as Abdulmutallab] to ignite 80 grams of the explosive PETN on a flight destined for America. He also explained how the patsy’s country of origin, Nigeria, is clandestinely controlled by the Israeli army and Mossad.

These entities train the military, sell weapons, run the airports, and wield power over DICON (Defense Industries Corporation). Furthermore, Mutallab’s father is a Mossad partner and Israel’s No. 1 contact in Nigeria. As the former CEO of his country’s most influential bank and the man who ran their national arms industry, Mr. Mutallab also harbors extremely close relationships with the U.S. ambassador and CIA chief in Nigeria.

On Nov. 19, 2009, Mutallab supposedly felt so alarmed about his errant son’s behavior that he met with the CIA’s station chief in Nigeria. Duff describes the father in a Dec. 31 article for Veterans Today as “one of the richest people in the world, head of a major bank, head of the national
armaments industry, and close associate of the U.S. ambassador,” as well as being a Mossad asset. Yet we’re to believe that nobody prevented his Yemeni-influenced “terrorist” son from boarding a plane ultimately bound for Detroit?

Another significant detail is being neglected by mainstream media sources. The firm in charge of security at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport is the Israeli-owned International Consultants on Targeted Security (ICTS).They’re also the same outfit responsible for all three airports used by “Muslim hijackers” on 9-11. ICTS also handled security for London’s bus system during their 7-7 “Muslim bombing,” while doing the same at Charles de Gaulle Airport when “shoe bomber” Richard Reid boarded a plane in Paris on Dec. 22, 2001.

When a Michigan passenger, attorney Kurt Haskell, reported that a “well-dressed” Indian man arranged for Umar Mutallab to perform a “walkaround” without a passport in Amsterdam, ICTS was one of only a few entities that could have permitted this security breach to take place.

Despite tighter screening processes since 9-11, Northwest Airlines Flight 253 experienced no delays in takeoff. According to the Mathaba News Agency on Jan. 2, “It is evident that clearing the terrorist with higher-ups took a matter of a minute or so—the ‘Indian’ obviously had a high-level pass (CIA, Mossad or high-level security clout).”

Then, during the flight, onlookers noted that another passenger spent a great deal of time filming 23-year-old Mutallab with his camcorder. Even stranger, once the suspect tried to ignite his “crotch bomb,” Mathaba reported, “Throughout the incident, the man continued recording the terrorist, calmly and without interruption.”

Next, after the plane landed, another Indian man was led away in handcuffs after bomb-sniffing dogs smelled explosives in his luggage. Now, more than a week later, officials have refused to release Schiphol CCTV airport footage from Amsterdam, the air-bound “video passenger” film, or identify the man arrested in Detroit.

This Indian link doesn’t surprise Duff. “Israel and India are very close business partners, especially via their military contracts. Also, the Indian intelligence agency (Research and Analysis Wing) works hand-in-hand with Israel. Essentially, the two governments are one.”

But the Mossad’s reach extends even further, directly into the country where Mutallab purportedly trained. On Oct. 7, 2008, BBC News reported, “Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has said that security forces have arrested a group of alleged Islamist militants linked to Israeli intelligence.”

The ties go even deeper, straight to Mutallab’s home country. In a Sept. 5, 2008 article by Tashikalmah Hallah and Francis Okeke entitled “Nigeria: Lawmakers Divided Over Mossad,” Sen. Nuhu Aliyu voiced his support for their pact with Israel. “They (Mossad) are professionals, and they are here to help train our own intelligence agents. I don’t see any way by which their presence in the country poses a threat to our national security.”

One final element of the equation needs to be addressed; specifically, the “terrorist cell” that ostensibly trained Mutallab prior to his Christmas Day terror attempt.

However, Duff paints an entirely different picture. “There is no al-Qaeda in Yemen. George Bush released a couple of phony operatives from Guantanamo, and after traveling to the Middle East, they hooked up with the Mossad. The only reason Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez released them is because they’re assets.”

Of course, the American public is being misled again into believing that this “lone nut” terrorist sneaked through the system (no-fly lists, airport scrutiny etc) due to mere incompetence, similar to what occurred on 9-11.

Yet Israeli intelligence provided security at the Amsterdam Airport, where Mutallab boarded a plane with no passport; the NSA is equipped to electronically eavesdrop anywhere around the world; the Mossad is tied to Yemen, Nigeria and India; while the suspect’s father opened up banking and arms contacts in the Middle East while harboring an extremely close relationship with American and Israeli intelligence.

What we’re being fed is another propagandized cover story that is intended to keep ratcheting up Orwellian-style trauma and fear, all the while further spreading our global “terror war” to Yemen and the African continent.
-------
Commentary: I cannot comment on the truth of any of the allegations made by Tom Burghardt and Victor Thorn, but it is quite clear to me that both the "shoe bomber" and the "underwear bomber" were not in any sense of the word a "real" attempt at blowing up a plane. In both cases it is absolutely clear that we are dealing with a "useful idiot" used by some agency in order to frighten the public. Predictably, some "doubleplusgoodthinking" pundits immediately concluded that "9/11 Truthers (are) Foiled by 12/25 Attack". Equally predictably, President Obomb'ya not only got to look "tough" and "patriotic", but he now has a hyper-pious excuse to engage in any military operation in Yemen to rescue his Saudi allies. If we ask ourselves basic cui bono question we can only come to one conclusion: the USraelian Empire. Ditto for "motive, means and oportunity". I bet you next time the clothes-terrorist will be Venezuelan or Iranian.

Neda's fiance describes the circumstances of her death

Notice the syllogistic logic he uses: in Iran people are not allowed to carry guns, cops are always in uniform, therefore the person who shot Neda was not a civilian nor a cop, he therefore must have been a Basij.

Also - no sniper on rooftops, no bikers in this account. Only people in a traffic jam and suddenly one single shot.

Finally, while he is clearly upset about her death and about the government's lack of proper investigation, he does not mention by a single word the reports about the "Basij" being caught by bystanders and having his ID card photographed before being actually *released* and allowed to go away. Now, if it had been my fiance shot and if her killer had been first apprehended, identified and then released, I would have been quite outraged not only at the government for failing to investigate, but even more so at the crowd for suddenly and inexplicably having let the killer go.

Again - I do not know what happened that day, but I can only repeat here that basic common sense should show anybody not blinded by ideological prejudice that the official story has been changed many times already and that none of the accounts so far make any sense whatsoever.

I really need your help here!

Dear friends,

There are two stories which I am very interested in:

The first one is the story of the "Basij thug sniper on the roof who is not on the roof but on a motorbike who is not a sniper after all but who was shooting with a small caliber handgun". It is quite possible that the government is trying to cover up something here and is lying about this small caliber handgun thing, but I very much doubt this. They are, after all, raising the issue of Neda's murder at a time when this issue is quietly running out of steam. Then, a *small caliber* shot to the heart is something which is typical of a professional assassination. A small caliber is easy to hide, is quiet, very accurate and does the job very well, but only in the hands of a highly trained shooter. This story deserves all the scrutiny it can get. (did I mention that small caliber handgun is a favorite Mossad assassination weapon?).

The second story I am interested in is the story of the "fake Basij" recently arrested. Same disclaimer as above - could be just spin and damage control by the government. My questions here are: have the Basij deployed in Tehran been given weapons or not? That should be easy to verify. Second, has the local press revealed anything about the identities of the arrested individuals?

In particular, I ask those among you who either speak Farsi or have contacts in Iran to please help me and get me as many details as possible.

I would be most interested in the confirmation that Neda was killed by a small caliber hangun bullet.

We *know* that Neda was NOT demonstrating. All sources agree about that. We also know that she was NOT close to any demonstrations. All sources agree about that too. We also know that the images of her wearing green (the color of this "color coded revolution" have been doctored (that has been admitted by all sources too). But none of that is a "smoking gun" (literally). But if we could only get a confirmation that what killed her was a small handgun round we would have an absolute certitude that this is a false flag assassination.

I ask you to please make a real effort, use all your contacts, to try to establish what the autopsy report on her death said.

Needless to say, the corporate press and the Left-leaning free press will now hush up this story. Considering how much indignation and outrage (not to mention how little cool logic) they put into Neda's death, I don't expect anybody to come up with a mea culpa. So the ONLY chance to find out is, I believe, the local press in Tehran (either paper or on the Fari Internet). I don't understand Farsi and I don't have personal contact in Iran.

Bottom line: I really need help here.

Many thanks in advance,

The Saker

Ahmadinejad orders probe into Neda's 'suspicious' death

Press TV reports:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has asked the Judiciary chief to conduct a through investigation into the death of Neda Aqa-Soltan, an Iranian woman who was shot dead in Tehran's post-vote protests.

In a letter to Iran's Judiciary chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi-Shahroudi on Monday, Ahmadinejad called for a serious probe into the "suspicious" death of Neda and recognizing elements behind her killing.

"Neda Aqa-Soltan was shot dead in one of Tehran's streets on June 20 by unknown elements in a completely suspicious way," said the president.

"Amid vast propaganda by foreign media and many other evidence about the heartfelt event, it seems definite that opponents of the Iranian nation interfere (in Iran's internal affairs) for their political misuse," he added.

Neda, 26, became a symbol of post-election street rallies in Iran and an international icon in recent days after graphic videos of her death grabbed the attention of world media outlets.

Her death first became suspicious after revelations that she was killed by a small caliber pistol -- a weapon that is not used by Iranian security forces.
-------
Note: I suppose now we have heard it all. First, we were told that Neda was killed by a "Basij thug" sniper "hiding on a rooftop". Then that she was killed by a "Basij thug" "sniper on a motorbike". And now we are told that she died from a small caliber pistol (no doubt fired by a "Basij thug"). Except that a small caliber pistol cannot be fired accurately at ranges over 50 meters max. If this really was a pistol shot, then the entire "Basij thug" thing is collapsing and what we are left with it a typical false flag operation. More details about the rather strange circumstances of her death can be found here.

To Provoke War, Cheney Considered Proposal To Dress Up Navy Seals As Iranians And Shoot At Them

(thanks to Alex P. for this story)

A Think Progress Exclusive

Speaking at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, Seymour Hersh — a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist for The New Yorker — revealed that Bush administration officials held a meeting recently in the Vice President’s office to discuss ways to provoke a war with Iran.

In Hersh’s most recent article, he reports that this meeting occurred in the wake of the overblown incident in the Strait of Hormuz, when a U.S. carrier almost shot at a few small Iranian speedboats. The “meeting took place in the Vice-President’s office. ‘The subject was how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,’” according to one of Hersh’s sources.

During the journalism conference event, I asked Hersh specifically about this meeting and if he could elaborate on what occurred. Hersh explained that, during the meeting in Cheney’s office, an idea was considered to dress up Navy Seals as Iranians, put them on fake Iranian speedboats, and shoot at them. This idea, intended to provoke an Iran war, was ultimately rejected:

HERSH: There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war. The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build — we in our shipyard — build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up. Might cost some lives. And it was rejected because you can’t have Americans killing Americans. That’s the kind of — that’s the level of stuff we’re talking about. Provocation. But that was rejected.

Hersh argued that one of the things the Bush administration learned during the encounter in the Strait of Hormuz was that, “if you get the right incident, the American public will support” it.

Look, is it high school? Yeah,” Hersh said. “Are we playing high school with you know 5,000 nuclear warheads in our arsenal? Yeah we are. We’re playing, you know, who’s the first guy to run off the highway with us and Iran.”

If Iran is Attacking It Might Really be Israel

by Philip Giraldi for the American Conservative

The Benny Morris op-ed in the NYT last Friday should provide convincing evidence that Israel really really really wants an attack against Iran sooner rather than later. Morris is close to the Israeli government and his case that Iran must be bombed soon and with maximum conventional weaponry to avoid using nukes later was clearly intended to push the United States to do the attacking. The likelihood that Dick Cheney is almost certainly supportive of a US pre-emptive strike and might well be pulling strings behind the scenes, possibly without the knowledge of the Great Decider, makes the next several months particularly significant if a war is to be avoided.

Some intel types are beginning to express concerns that the Israelis might do something completely crazy to get the US involved. There are a number of possible “false flag” scenarios in which the Israelis could insert a commando team in the Persian Gulf or use some of their people inside Iraq to stage an incident that they will make to look Iranian, either by employing Iranian weapons or by leaving a communications footprint that points to Tehran’s involvement.

Those who argue that Israel would never do such a thing should think again. Israel is willing to behave with complete ruthlessness towards the US if they feel that the stakes are high enough, witness the attack on the USS Liberty and the bombing of the US Consulate in Alexandria in the 1950s. If they now believe that Iran is a threat that must be eliminated it is not implausible to assume that they will stop at nothing to get the the United States to do it for them, particularly as their air force is only able to damage the Iranian nuclear program, not destroy it.

Pro-US forces organize provocations in Beirut

Al-Manar reports:

Residents of the Nuweiri area in Beirut protested at Future Movement gunmen for opening fire and terrorizing civilians, so they decided to storm into their office.

Hezbollah members informed Lebanese Army intelligence service about the matter and a military unit was dispatched to the location and evacuated 21 Future Movement members from the office.

The army confiscated automatic weapons and ammunition. They also found applications for new Future Movement members as well as alcoholic drinks.

Future Movement gunmen had spread on rooftops of buildings in Ras el-Nabeh region and opened fire at civilians and in some cases army soldiers.
-----
Commentary: this is an old and well rehearsed Imperial technique: shoot civilians or shoot soldiers and then try to blame it all on the opposition. Think of it as a false flag operation in the context of a civil war (an interesting piece on Israeli false flag operations can be found here, including a photo of a "Arab terrorist" wearing a Star of David). It clearly appears that the anti-Hezbollah operation launched by the Siniora government is now in full swing

Brother of murdered Turkish journalist blames USA for anti-Iranian "false flag" operation

(The following was sent to me by a reader to whom I am most grateful. VS)
-------

The assassination of the leftist investigative journalist and columnist Ugur Mumcu in 1993 was seen by Turkey's secular establishment, media and armed forces as an opportunity to galvanize anti-Islamic feelings in general and anti-Iranian feelings in particular. The assassination was blamed on Iran, who allegedly used the (Turkish) Hizbullah as a pawn. In reality, the Sunni Hizbullah has very little in common with its namesake in Lebanon and it is an established fact that this group was used by Turkey's paramilitary establishment against the PKK during the 1990's.

Recently, news items on Hizbullah have once again started appearing in the Turkish media. There are grounds to interpret this as part of a subtle psychological operation to season the Turkish public opinion against Iran. If that proves to be the case, then the parallels between the Mumcu assassination and the 1994 bombing of a Jewish Centre in Buenos Aires are quite striking.

Ugur Mumcu was assassinated by the US, claims his brother

Tevhid Haber, 26 January 2008

Renown journalist Ugur Mumcu was assassinated in Ankara on 24 January 1993. On the 15th anniversary of his assassination (24 January 2008), Ugur Mumcu's solicitor brother Ceyhan Mumcu said to Ulusal Kanal (National Channel) that he was definitely murdered by the US and that blaming Iran for this was a mere diversion. Ceyhan Mumcu has made the following call to the public: "Let's be careful from now on and do not claim that Ugur Mumcu was murdered by Iran. Although I've been reiterating this point frequently, unfortunately some people are still giving statements to the contrary to the press. According to my research, US took the decision to murder him in May 1992."

Ceyhan also said that over the last years of his life Ugur Mumcu was conducting a research on the activities of the US- and Israel-linked terror organization PKK.

Throughout his life he never wrote critical pieces on Iran; on the contrary, he once wrote about his esteem for Khomeini who said 'neither USA or USSR' and aimed for a completely independent Iran. "My brother was murdered due to his anti-imperialist and pro-independence stance" said Ceyhan.

Interesting declaration of ex-Italian President Francesco Cossiga

I personally take no other position on 911 other than claiming that the official version is so obviously full of holes that it is an insult to anyone's intelligence. My hunch is that several foreign intelligences agencies, including the Russians, Israelis and French, had warned the USA but in yet another display of its trademark incompetence the US government never acted on this info. The cover-up today is most likely a 'butt-covering operation' to prevent this SNAFU from becoming public knowledge. But that's just my guess, nothing more. I am open to any and all theories about what really happened on 911.

Today though, I came across a rather interesting newsitem: a rather curious declaration of ex-Italian President Francesco Cossiga in the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Take a look for yourself :

-------

(TRANSLATION:

"From areas around the Palazzo Chigi, the nerve centre of headquarters of the Italian intelligence community, it is noted that the non-authenticity of the video is demonstrated by the fact that Osama bin Laden in it 'confessed' that Al Qaeda was behind the 911 attacks against the Twin Towers in New York, while all of the democratic countries of, America and of Europe, with at the forefront the Italian centre-left, now know well that these cataclysmic attacks were planned and realized by the American CIA and Mossad with the help of the Zionist world to put Arabic countries under accusation and to persuade the Western Powers to intervene in Iraq and Afghanistan.)
-------

So the man that revealed to the world the scope of the NATO false flag operation Gladio now claims that 911 was a joint Israeli-US "inside job". Cossiga is well-known for making controversial declarations, but not for making false ones.

I have not much of an opinion about all this (other than noting that the official and corporate media obediently ignores this statement by a major former European head of state).

Any opinions you want to share about all this? Please post away!

Military Drills - False Flag Provocation, Attack On Iran?

By Webster G. Tarpley

'Solid Curtain' And 'Citadel Shield 2007' Military Drills Raise Spectre Of Imminent False Flag Provocation And Attack On Iran

WASHINGTON, DC -- US military bases in the continental United States (CONUS) will go on special lockdown between September 17 and September 21 under the auspices of Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield '07, a reliable source reported today. Under these exercises, US installations will institute enhanced anti-terror force protection measures, with increased security at all gates. The increased security was so elaborate that base personnel were being warned to expect significant delays at all base entrances.

According to William Arkin's 2005 directory of military code names, Solid Curtain is a US Navy Fleet Forces Command anti-terrorism/force protection exercise. In Solid Curtain '03, Arkin reports, the drill scenario involved 15 simultaneous attacks across the country including the Corpus Christi naval air station, the Ingleside naval station, local shipyards, and other targets of attack in the coastal bend of south Texas. In earlier versions of Solid Curtain, the Newport Rhode Island naval station was featured in the scenario.

Smaller local news outlets near US bases have begun to report on these drills. One such account can be found in the Ridgecrest, California Daily Independent, site of the Sierra Sands Naval Air Weapons Station. (LINK)

Other reports concerned the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Florida (LINK) and the Goose Creek Naval Weapons station near Charleston, South Carolina (LINK)

No further details concerning Citadel Shield could be ascertained.

These drills cause acute concern because they occur before the backdrop of widely reported preparations by the Cheney clique to manufacture a new 9/11 and/or a new Gulf of Tonkin incident to be used as a pretext for a US sneak attack on Iran, with an included option for martial law inside the United States.

On Friday, September 14, the US Air Force has instituted a stand-down for the alleged purpose of reviewing procedures after a B-52 transported six nuclear-armed cruise missiles from Minot AFB North Dakota to Barksdale AFB Louisiana. Intelligence community sources have pointed to the fact that Barksdale is the jumping off point for US air assets moving to the Persian Gulf, suggesting that US nuclear weapons are being readied for a strike on Iran. Another option might well be that one or more of the cruise missiles was destined for use in a false flag attack on an American city, a scenario alluded to by Cheney on April 15 in an interview on CBS New Face the Nation.

Solid Curtain and Citadel Shield will be taking place within the same general time frame as Vigilant Shield '08, scheduled to be held October 15-20, 2007, with a scenario that calls for the detonation of three radiological dispersal devices within the purview of USNORTHCOM (continental US) and the US Pacific Command. Vigilant Shield is supposed to be centered in Oregon, Arizona, and Guam. The drill is slated to include multiple homeland defense, critical infrastructure protection, and aerospace events. Linked to Vigilant Shield is another drill called National Level Exercise 1-08. In addition to the US, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom are scheduled to take part. Concurrent with these drills is TOPOFF 4 (Top Officials 4), the main yearly terrorism preparedness exercise sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security. The boss of this agency, Michael Chertoff, announced earlier in the summer that he had a "gut feeling" that a terror attack on the US was about to occur. This is another drill that lends itself to going live.

Also relevant to these events is Noble Resolve '07, a drill organized by the Joint Task Force Command (JTFCOM), Northern Command (NORTHCOM), J9 Joint Innovation and Experimentation Directorate, FEMA's command bunker, the Department of Homeland Security, and Virginia police. According to false flag drill expert D.L. Abrahamson, Noble Resolve '07 represents a four-day marathon of "simulated" terror attacks across the US and Europe, including a simulated detonation of a "loose" ten-kiloton nuclear weapon Virginia harbor, smuggled in by a "foreign nation." Drills like these, if flipped live, would give Cheney the pretext to put the entire world on a catastrophic slide towards general war.

Recent terror events, such as London July 7, 2005, have occurred when drills and exercises went live or were flipped live by military and intelligence factions supporting the War of Civilizations, which such actions are meant to stoke. Most significantly, the original 9/11 coup d'etat by these same aggressive US military and intelligence factions was preceded and accompanied by installation security clampdowns of the type now imminent at the military bases in the Washington DC area and elsewhere.

These exercises can be summed up as follows:

BASE ISOLATION AND COUP PREPARATION Forts Hamilton, Meade (NSA), Belvoir, Ritchie, Myer, and McNair Starting August 15, 2001, Army limits public access to bases near Washington DC, supposedly as part of nationwide security clampdown because of terrorist threat Fort Meyer, VA, Fort McNair, DC, 3rd US Infantry (LINK)

September 5, 2001: US Army bases near Washington DC implement "full access control." Fort McNair is HQ, Army Military District of Washington DCFort Meyer, Virginia"Force protection exercise" scheduled for week after 9/11 Fort Belvoir, Virginia On September 11, 2001: second Tuesday of "garrison control exercise," allegedly to "test the security at the base in case of a terrorist attack."

Persons of good will in the United States must demand that elected representatives and presidential candidates act to expose, denounce, and shut down these reckless and highly dangerous drills. Countries outside of the US must demand explanations from the US Embassy as to whether the US is indeed preparing a nuclear aggression against Iran, under the cover of a false flag war provocation. Countries not wishing to be drawn into the abyss of such a catastrophe must take steps now to assert their national independence.

(Note: This article is interesting not because it proves that a false flag operation is being executed, but because it describes how a covert operation can be "buried" inside a legitimate training exercise - VS)
